Besides loving to write, I delight in the extraordinary beauty of the Pacific Northwest – Portland, Oregon. Before moving to Portland, my wife and I lived for many years high up the side of Haleakalā on the Hawaiian Island of Maui.
After a day of writing irresistible copy, you can find me outdoors – either gardening, hiking, or cycling! When night falls, it’s time to go dancing – Argentine Tango, of course!
Our lifestyle is a delicate balance between being creative foodies who love spending time in Italy and health nuts who love to exercise and eat a healthy diet.
Fun bit of trivia: I have traveled and worked, all around the world, hitchhiking and using public transport. I lived a year in the Sahara Desert, in Egypt, on a geophysical crew. I have learned and spoken a little to a lot of Italian, French, Japanese, Danish, Hindi and Arabic. Life is a grand adventure!
